Capital for SA
Now Naidu and Co. want the Sivaramakrishnan committee to visit major world capitals and get some "first hand" information namd make their recommendations on the location in three months. Doesn't make sense. Didn't they visit Singapore, Raipur in Chattisgarh, and the Malaysia capital already. These recommended visits look like a delaying tactic to accommodate some people who need a little more time to mint millions.

How dare you question the sincerity of Babu garu, sir. He has vast experience of building world class capital cities that no other person of telugu origin can claim of. All Andhras need to do is, follow his leadership blindly, Babu garu will ensure that they will get there.

Same old...same old...Politicians squandering public money. The Committee can easily browse the net.
Just find out who that committee members are.
Malaysia and Singapore are not Phoren anymore. It has to be US, UK, Swiss, or Japan.

You misunderstood. The way our politics work , the govt employees usually get to tour India and the politicians tour the foreign countries to "study/observe/learn" and use the "knowledge" that they gained to develop the country.
So the AP govt formed a committee consisting of ministers and headed by the Deputy CM. This committee will visit the world capitals and other famous cities to "study/observe/learn".

The govt. does have two areas close to Mangalagiri under its control that are not irrigated:
1. Tadepalli reserved forest:
https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Tadepalli+Reserved+Forest/@16.4781176,80.5828531,4621m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x3a35f1af3af45219:0xd74e473908dc76ee
2. Mangalagiri reserved forest:

They are hilly areas but the slopes on either side can be developed.
Also, Krishna river has a U shaped bend between Pulichintala and Kothapalli. Although it is hilly, there are plateau regions that are not irrigated. These are govt. owned lands that are just sitting around. The capital can be built there.
