....India's federal investigating agency arrested the chairman of state-run Syndicate Bank Ltd. on allegations involving bribes from private companies in return for loan extensions, a Central Bureau of Investigation official said Sunday. " Sudhir Kumar Jain was arrested late Saturday. He's in our custody," said Kanchan Prasad, CBI spokeswoman.
