Maria,
Many months ago you asked me about Perunjsiththiranar's daughter. I said she is somewhere in US.
Here is some information about his youngest son Pozhilan.

Hello Kayal!
Appreciate you sharing the info.
I wish the entire Peruchithranar family, wherever they are well...they were/are sincere, passionate and courageous family...apparently paid with tears and sweat for their beliefs.
In the end..whatever one's beliefs may be (one can agree/disagree with them) how they "treat us" matters, their kindness on a "personal level" matters..and I have good memories of their kindness and warm hospitality many years ago.
*You remembering my inquiry about them matters- to me:)
take care.

I could not have said it better. This is what I was implying in another post to Max sir. Individuals - irrespective of country, religion, language - hovers around family, kids, daily life, careers, food etc... I give the best advice I can for them. Just did so to a Lahore Paki and a Burkha-clad woman last Friday.
But, "crowd" and "group" mindset are different. It is an interesting field in Psychology.

Thanks, Maria. It seems you don't come here often. I should do so too.
True, person to person interaction matters a lot. .
Dr. TNK wrote many years ago about his meetings with EVR, Kamaraj, Karunanidhi and MGR.
Whatever their views, he said that MGR showed a real concern in him as a person. That touched him deeply. It may explain why MGR had such a huge fan base as an actor and ground level support in politics. No one else could have crossed swords with Karunanidhi, left the powerful DMK and built a strong party.
