Modi said that UPA govt did not do its job and became a problem for the nation.  

In any case the question on this thread is not about what modi was doing but what do you think of his aug 15th speech.

The 'it' above refers to Pakistan. Given Pakistan's obsession with India and the money spent on arming itself and the proxy wars it conducts, this is partially true, but the lion's share of Pakistan's lack of development is due to deeper causes: lack of stable governance and a schizophrenic world view that does not engender confidence in entrepreneurs. In any event, no one is stopping Pakistan from ending this India-related paranoia.

The other part Patel seems to acknowledge as a left-handed compliment to Modi is his pronouncement that  cannot solve all the nation's problems. This is self-evident and other than socialists/communists, I am not sure who seriously harbors this fantasy.

Face it.. Both sides promised everything and acted holier than the other. That is the nature of politics. By the same token, treat both parties the same way giving enough rope.

Otherwise, just admit you are an A-hole, and nothing matters when it comes to Modi and be like Rash and Rush....  We will then appreciate your honesty...
