What an irony! I remember, on old sulekha during the height of NI/SI fights, many members have concluded that Kannadigas are the nicest people, are above usual bigotry and language prejudices.

The vast majority of Kannadigas are indeed very nice and free of bigotry. These guys who beat up the Manipuri represent the lunatic fringe.
