here goes (cricket)
ENG have won the toss and elected to bat. there goes my hope of winning this one. this is a batting wicket and i was hoping that IND would pile up a massive total. but now ENG will bat well and score hundreds of runs. either a draw or ENG win - my prediction.

ENG 50 for no loss. freesanta is giving freebies 5 months in advance. 19 in 3 overs.

They are batting like where they left off in 3rd test. Do not expect anything less than 500.

maxentropy_man, why do your posts have random line breaks? this used to happen with littlefella's posts on the old CH. do you post using a cell phone? just curious.

Re: here goes (cricket)
that's my own doing. i have a big ass screen, and sentences appear as one long scrawl, all across the screen if i don't hit return and break them up. so they appear as bite sized paras for me, but random line breaks for you. how does this one look?

Well...Kiran Bedi might just do the trick. She used to be my hero, who was not afraid of even the Gandhai dynasty.

two down. IND must not let this initiative slip out of its hands and attack. i am hoping for one more wicket just before lunch.

Re: here goes (cricket)
the sky commentary team is remarking on how ishant is one lone bowler who despite the results has come out and bowled his heart out right through the series. i think i agree. so i'd have to modify my answer above and say i'd like to retain dravid and ishant and nobody else.

Re: here goes (cricket)
did you watch RIP singh bowl? i have not. but from the reports I have read today, he was embarrassing. bowled his first ball that bounced twice before it reached dhobi. at a supersonic speed of 120 KMPH. and then he improved, and bowled his second and third that bounced only once before reaching dhobi.

freesanta - 4,4,1,1,0,4
and this is what he tweeted last night -
"I don't forgive people because I am weak. I forgive them because I am strong enough to know people make mistakes."
ok, freesanta, be strong and forgive srikanth for including you in this squad.
