..The accounts are the ones stolen from HSBC in 2007 and those given by the French Govt in 2011 - and the account holders used the account in 1999-2000.

all of them incahoot when it comes to money and power.

NEW DELHI: The list of 627 names provided by HSBC Bank, which also operates in India, does not have any big names connected to political parties or industrialists, government sources said on Wednesday.

The sources were also sceptical about recovery of huge amounts from the 350-odd Indians, who could face prosecution for allegedly stashing black money in foreign banks, as their account entries were too old and reflected relatively small deposits. The rest of the names in the list of 627 are non-resident Indians (NRIs) who cannot be proceeded against under Indian tax laws, they said.

The sources told TOI that most of the bank account entries were much before 2006 and generally were recorded from 1999 to 2004-05. One of the account entries dated to 1973 and is barred under law from being assessed for tax evasion, they said.

What else can you expect from Govt's which for the sake of votes try to fool people and keep them backward by issuing official caste and tribal status certificates and even mention the caste of students in their school certificates / transcripts!

When it came to cleaning up politics, I was never expecting NDA to be on the other side of the spectrum to UPA. Only a fool would expect that from NDA Govt.

Modi may have the right intensions but he's not super human and I don't want him to be one. He too gets donations from crooks, fraudsters, murderers, rapists and tax evaders. I want to see his actions moving forward.

I'd still wait and watch how the country moves ahead in terms of easing for the man pulling the cart on the road.
