.....So far, activists said, more than 2,000 animals have been seized along the India and Nepal border, and 100 people arrested. “It’s madness, it’s really madness,” said N.G. Jayasimha, director of the Humane Society International of India, who is at the temple site this week. “There are no roads, no infrastructure, not a single public bus, no sanitation and no drinking water. There are human feces everywhere. A number of people have come, and everybody is carrying an animal to be sacrificed.”

A typical influence/import of iSlamic/Mogul Barbaric practice. Imagine anyone criticizing animal sacrifice to Allah or Mohammad....he/she will also be sacrificed by the pieacefuls.

It is bloody and barbaric.. (not sure the origin of the practice).


A comment on the above artilce;
Thats almost funny- an American publication complaining about the ritual slaughter of an animal in a foreign country- at Thanksgiving! lol!

Upps aunty, do you really have to parade your colossal ignorance at every opportunity? Animal (and human) sacrifice is as old as the Vedas.

Far from criticizing, you chaddis should heed Ashdoc and embrace your roots. Hopefully, it might eventually make you chaddis as tough as Muslims. Not you though - your limpwristedness is incorrigible.

Not surprisingly , Nepal produces the world's finest soldiers---the Gurkhas . 

Even the British army recruits them even today .
