MEA Starts Division to Promote Hindi
http://www.newindianexpress.com/thesundaystandard/English-Vinglish-MEA-Starts-Division-to-Promote-Hindi/2015/01/18/article2623892.eceNEW DELHI: India’s diplomacy has now gone desi. The Indian Foreign Service (IFS) that takes pride in the use of the Queen’s English now sees it fit to promote Bharat Sarkar’s Bhasha. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s preference over Hindi, even during his diplomatic engagements with world leaders, the MEA has gone ahead and opened a full-fledged Hindi division in its organisational structure and increased the hierarchical importance of the division by bringing it under a joint secretary-rank IFS officer.
Till just ten days ago, the division was headed by a deputy secretary-rank officer, borrowed from the Ministry of Home Affairs’ (MHA) Official Languages department, reporting to joint secretary (Administration). Thus, MEA has become the first ministry, outside the MHA, to create a Hindi language-promotion division.

Great job. I think at the end of Modi's regime, his most significant achievement would be creating a lot of Union government posts with good salaries for Hindians whose only job is to make sure Hindi is imposed on all government work. We can understand that he has to satisfy the Hindians who gave him overwhelming support.
One good thing is that with this BJP regime, people are going to realise India is just Hindia and non Hindians have no place there..

There is a Facebook group with over 5000 members but the moderators of that group won't let me post the solution to end Hindi imposition over Tamil Nadu and other non-Hindi regions.
Similarly the voice of others who hold similar views are also muffled there.

Only thing the group does is gripe all the time, "there is Hindi in the bank deposit slip", "railway sign board in Bangalore is in Hindi" "ATM is in Hindi". They offer no solution and won't let reasonable perople post solutions. Not just me but a number of others too.

Fashion-pundits cry all the time about 50-year Congress rule but whenever the electorate gave others a chance they all turned out to be complete duds.Ponniyin Selvan wrote:confuzzled dude wrote:http://www.newindianexpress.com/thesundaystandard/English-Vinglish-MEA-Starts-Division-to-Promote-Hindi/2015/01/18/article2623892.eceNEW DELHI: India’s diplomacy has now gone desi. Thinking about it, it is mostly hatred for Congress. But this continued imposition of Hindian governance quickly changed me.

In fact, everytime the center has tried to impose hindi, it has backfired. With no "overt"imposition for 40 years hindi is seeping into TN. With over imposition now there has been more anti-hindi sentiment in SOUTH than in recent decades. It is now watched by the Gults, Kannadigas and Tamilans.
