Maya Bazaar (Bengali) and Luv Shuv tey Chicken Khurana (Hindi and Punjabi), with English subtitles
Watched the two movies during the last weekend.
The first (Maya Bazaar, in Bengali and and with enough English dialogue) is in three parts (Memories, Soul and Future) has nothing to do with movie 'Maya Bazaar' in Telugu, and it deals with paranormal, psychology and the debate involving the believers and non-believers. A good example as to why the Bengali movie-making is different than the other types of Indian movies. Worth watching.

The second (Luv Shuv tey Chicken Khurana) is a comedy with a nice, well-balanced and real life / believable story. Actings and direction are good.

Thanks, Seva. Will try to watch. I've been watching a few bengali movies with subtitles on youtube lately. I used to do that on DD many years ago, when they used to air movies of all different languages, with english subtitles. Bengali movies are the best. So are Assamese and malayali. Brilliant movie makers!

Also watched the Hindi version of "Maya Bazaar" (about the Mahabharata), made in 1958 or so.
It mainly deals with the Pandava's time during exile, after losing everything to Kauravas in gambling, and shows specifically the marriage of Abhimanyu (Arjuna's son) to Surekha (Balaram's daughter) with the help of Ghatotakach (and Krishna too).
--- just an ordinary movie, probably a poor remake of the Telugu "Maya Bazzar".
