News is that RE prices dropped by about 40-50% in AP new capital area i.e. Thullur and surrounding areas and folks are panicking and some have committing suicides. It is really a sad situation and sad state of affairs by incompetent govt.

Land prices go up - cbn scam, land prices go down - cbn incompetent.

It is not that simple. CBN cohorts won't commit suicides because they will be compensated for their losses one way or the other. But folks that are committing suicides are the ones that fell into that trap, usually small guys.

It seems Amit Shah and BJP has finally figured out that Naidu duo are joined at the hip in restricting BJP's growth in Andhra, apparently are not happy with them and they let them know via Budget. If Naidus don't mend their ways, they might have to take political sanyas pretty soon.

So, is Modi willing to take a hit in AP in the next Lok Sabha election?

If Jagan is hoping that Modi will align with him in 2019, he is being a fool. It will be like two sadhus scratching each other and ashes fall to the ground.

If BJP goes back on the promises and Naidu gets some of the things done without special favours from Modi, people will appreciate him, not BJP.

Modi's best chance is in Telangana. By 2019, KCR will screw up and become unpopular (Kodandaram is planning another huge protest by students).
