MANDALAY: The Solar Impulse 2 (Si2), a solar-powered aircraft on a mission to fly around the globe without a drop of fuel, has landed here on Thursday, completing the fourth leg of its historic flight, according to media reports.....................

A strictly solar "impulse" type gadget (plane in this case) on the other hand should work through the direct momentum transfer from the sunlight, which is not happening in this case ... as the plane is not propelled by using the momentum transfer (or impulse) directly from the sunlight.
