Caste in reservations?
"Caste based system can be erased only if the definition of caste in the 'Bible' of Hindus is removed. Who will bell this cat" ... Nolife (A comment to the blog "Why Reservation Is Needed?" .... http://creative.sulekha.com/why-reservation-is-needed_221176_blog?c=2376754)
>>> No excuse can be let go unused to milk the system, including the (ancient) 'definition' of caste in the 'Bible' (?) of Hindus.
Btw the ancient Hindu books, which you like to address as the 'Bible' of Hindus, also talk about a woman having five husbands and another woman giving birth to one hundred sons. Does that mean that the Govt. should pass a law these days for women to have five husbands each or give birth to 100 sons?
Similarly, there is another ancient Hindu text, the 'Bible' of Hindus according to you, which mentions about a prince treating his father's kingdom and palace etc. not as his own (in spite of being the king's son) and he even goes and lives in a forest with his wife for 14 years in harsh conditions to honor his father's wish. Shouldn't that example, mentioned also in the 'Bible' of Hindus, be a lesson to people these days to not mooch off the system and others, including by using the ancient definition of caste in the 'Bible' of Hindus?

Now that is a valid suggestion. Unfortunately, there will be a caste/quota conditions attached to the 5 husbands - 1 OBC, 1 BC, 1 SC/ST, 1 General (that is the new terminology for everything else), and 1 minority (has to be either a muslim, Christian, or a jew).
