.....Mysuru has topped the Swachh Bharat rankings among 476 cities in the country with three more places from Karnataka figuring in the top 10.....The city of Mysuru leads the cities with minimal open defecation and extensive adoption of solid waste management practices. The top 10 ranked cities are Mysuru, Thiruchirapalli (Tamil Nadu), Navi Mumbai, Kochi (Kerala), Hassan, Mandya and Bengaluru from Karnataka, Thiruvananthapuram, Halisahar (West Bengal), and Gangtok (Sikkim).

Thirty-nine cities from the southern states were among the top 100, followed by 27 from East, 15 from West, 12 from North and seven from the North-Eastern states. Patna came at the bottom at 429th........

It's good to put the cities on a list in terms of their cleanliness. It will put additional pressure on people and municipalities in the dirty cities on the list to clean their mess quickly and effectively.

Typical of feku, taking credit for others work. Anyone with an iota of common sense won't attribute these rankings to that useless Swachh Bharat program, these cities most likely were cleaner before, as well.
