It just may be the result of a paradigm shift in India lately. There are lots of questions these days, in the social media especially (thanks to the Internet), on the lawlessness, mismanagement, corruption and inefficiency which used to prevail in the past in Govt. and other sectors. As the new Govt. at the Center takes matters in hand and implements remedial steps to reverse the previously sad situation and ways of doing things, all hell breaks loose and people who were the big beneficiaries under the old system, including scholars, historians, intellectuals, politicians and others are crying foul and claiming an increase in intolerance, but that simply is their way of (mis)interpreting the change in things for better under the new leader / P.M. (Modi).

then why is the BJP heading for a crushing defeat in Bihar Elections despite hectic and desperate campaigning by Narendra Modi? Let us not forget that the people are supreme in a democracy and if the people are not happy with Modi then Modi has to go.

Moidi / BJP's opponents in Bihar were campaigning that if BJP wins there it will take away the caste quotas. Victory by any party on that platform will be an insult to any intelligent person who can think rationally.Rashmun wrote:Seva Lamberdar wrote:It just may be the result of a paradigm shift in India lately. and Modi was saying in his campaign speeches that he can give his life to preserve caste based reservations, and that Nitish and Lalu are conspiring to take away 5% reservation from OBC's and dalits and give it to muslims. Amit Shah was saying that if Lalu and Nitish win then there will be celebrations in Pakistan (indicating that Lalu and Nitish are Pakistani agents). Does BJP want a single party rule in the country? Does it want to destroy Indian democracy?
