The very fact that people are protesting, making statements, conducting marches and returning awards publicly criticising the Govt are proof that India is as tolerant as always.

Imagine the similar return of awards, daily criticism by "artists and politicians" during the times of Emergency - imposed by the supposedly most secular, most tolerant party run by the most selfless Gandhi family, which conducted forced sterilizations, jailed everyone, ban the media, and killed 3500 Sikhs and 10,000 Assamese.

Ya, the only benchmark against which the current bunch look better is the Emergency-era Congress regime. But even that looks like a fleeting advantage. It's only a matter of time before the thinning veneer of civility wears off completely.

Can you please let us know where is this so-called so called "widespread intolerance" happening?

Can you post those massacre, riots videos please?
