It is capitalism. Growth over few decades breeds over investment (ex: China's real estate bubble - ghost cities, olympics in Brazil). The weak democracies in these countries will ensure the recovery is painful and slow. Unfortunately India is lumped together with BRICS.

the idea of slapping together disparate countries and creating an investment vehicle based on it was probably an ill conceived idea to begin with, like many other things GS has been involved with.

Of course, unless RSS is smashed, BJP banned and female bar tenders are put in power in Delhi, INDIA is a hindu terrorist nation and has to be part of BRICS.
