Odd-even days in Delhi

Premature and as usual childishly stupid.  Fri, sat, sun are public holidays and most offices are closed. The real challenge and chaos is on Monday and Tuesday...and after 1 week, when ppl get fed up with the difficulties and hassles.

are there really odd and even days in delhi? I think there are only rape days.

Busy roadways, snaking through these business locations, with slow moving bumper to bumper traffic  create worst possible exhaust problem combined with tall buildings creating tunnel affect.  Winter adds to the problem with cold air.  

India should do a lot right now. They should try every trick to find out which one will work better in India.

Implement this in all top 10 cities and include 2-wheelers and female drivers. This will force corporations and people to locate outside the mega cities and not to forget wider development.

Otherwise it will be a piecemeal tamasha. Remember this is only for 2 weeks. so let us wait.

And, now they are being asked to forego driving cars, car pool or go back to mobikes or bicycle.

The middle class was building own homes and growing slowly...then comes the fast pace development and the middle class is all buying "flats" that become like Concrete slums in 10 years and very few can now afford an individual home.

In short, back to concrete slum, bicycling to work, putting up with power cuts, unemployable sons with engineering degrees, and threat of layoff in their 50s with no pension provisions.
