That entire region follows RoW and no one country better than the other.

What do you expect US (or India) to do ? No align with Saudi or Iran thus driving them towards China (and PakiSatan). This will be a disaster for India and the US, as the "big" countries are known to wage wars through their surrogates.

So this is a world that one has to learn to live with the devil - Iran/Saudi or the US/India - depending on who you ask.
