FDI in Retail: Mahatma Anna's condemnation and call to action
Mahatma Anna, supreme leader of the second freedom struggle, vanquisher of corruption in India and patriot-in-chief has condemned the Empress and her lickspittles for their utterly unpatriotic FDI policy that favors modern day East India Companies, "inviting them to make us slaves again".
Since retail addiction is as morally corrupting as alcohol or bribery or non-vegetarian food or watching cable TV or free mingling with members of the other sex (all of which are disallowed in Ralegaon Siddhi, that model for new India), Mahatma Anna proposes a people's movement against morally degraded, unpatriotic shoppers who patronize (future) enslaving Walmarts in India.
Noble NRI crusaders for change, on your next trip to India, I urge you to join this people's movement and contribute in whatever way you can. You could, like Jobless Fella, loiter in the parking lots and hurl coconuts at women shopping bras there. Or you can stick to tried and tested ways: tie those pitiable degenerates to the nearest electric pole and beat them up. This technique has proved to be enormously successful in Ralegaon Siddhi (and the pubs of Mangalore) in curing weak people of their addictions.
Together, we can. That is, cure Indians of their moral weaknesses and make this nation strong again. Don't succumb to cynical status-quoists who are all the Italian-born Empress' running dogs. Be the change that Mahatma Anna wants. Bliss it will be that dawn. Jai Hind!
