Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha & Rani Mukherjee 'married' to villagers in UP

KANPUR: In a heart-breaking development for bachelors across the country, Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonakshi Sinha are said to have wed Farrukhabad natives Rakesh Chandra, Sadhu Lal and Ramesh Chandra.

This startling news came to the fore on the online website of the Food and Civil Supplies department of Farrukahabad, which has issued ration cards in the names of the three famous actresses, indicating their marital status as `married'.

In a bizarre twist to the script, the authorities of the Food and Civil Supplies department in Sahebganj village under Qayamganj tehsil in Farrukhabad district has also issued a ration card in the name of Rani Mukherjee, the only one of among the four actresses who is married in real life. In the records of the department though, she is married to Ramroop. "What's more, instead of her real-life producer director husband Aditya Chopra, the authorities have mentioned Ramroop as Rani Mukherjee's husband," said Pushpendra, one among a group of social activist to lodge a complaint with the authorities. According to another social activist, Deepika's digitised ration card no is 215920119259, while that of Jacqueline is215920119257, Rani Mukherjee 215920119261, and Sonakshi 215920119256.

Interestingly, the perpetrators of this fraud applied for a ration card for Deepika under the general category, while mentioning Jacqueline, Rani and Sonakshi as "backward", thereby procuring ration cards against their names under the `Antoyadaya' scheme. The fraudsters mentioned Rs 18,000 as the annual income of all the four ac tresses," said a district supply office source. Following a complaint by a group of social activists from Sahebganj, Farrukhabad district magistrate Prakash Bindu has ordered a probe. The incident came to light when the activists from Sahebgan came across the names of Bollywood actresses while verifying the credentials of ration card holders attached to the store of Raj Kishore on the online website of the Food and Civil Supplies department. Social activists said BPL and APL cards are provided by the government to help the poor, but they are being misused with fake cards being issued under fictitious and even celebrity names.The activists accused the owner of the ration shop in question of making false cards.

Admitting anomalies, SDM of Qayamganj Ajit Singh said, "The error will be rectified and a show-cause notice has been issued to the concerned authorities. We will conduct proceedings and punish the culprit."
