A G Peralivalan, one of the seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, was on Tuesday attacked inside the high security central prison in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, by another inmate, police said. The 44-year-old was attacked by another inmate Rajesh, they said.

Is the attacker an Indian agent? How was he able to get an iron rod in tghe high security prison? Was the prison officer on duty Hindian?
