With both Aus and Ind in serious team building exercise, prediction of results is crapshoot.

Experts identified the keys as:

1. Indian batting machine vs inexperienced but home advantaged aussie fast bowlers - with pattinson as key and hilfenhaus as comeback kid.

2. Health of Indian fast bowlers

No series commentator has predicted domination by either side and widely expected series score is 2-1 for the winning side(barring rain).

India may have to think of Strong performance in 1st and second tests, and hope for effective spells from from Zaheer and Ishant (a fit but non wicket taking Ishant could be a long term problem). India may have to contend with new Aussie top order warner, cowan, marsh rather than punter, hussey and clarke.

A strong and consistent opening wicket stand and kohli's regular lower order contributions could propel India to victory or even domination of the series.
