The former British intelligence officer who gathered the material about Mr. Trump is considered a competent and reliable operative with extensive experience in Russia, American officials said. But he passed on what he heard from Russian informants and others, and what they told him has not yet been vetted by American intelligence.

The memos describe sex videos involving prostitutes with Mr. Trump in a 2013 visit to a Moscow hotel. The videos were supposedly prepared as “kompromat,” or compromising material, with the possible goal of blackmailing Mr. Trump in the future.

It will be interesting to watch the extent of national security compromise Americans have now steeled themselves to accept. Where will they draw the line? What will congress do with this information? And Obama still has ten days. Will he release some of this information in the coming days as his final act of revenge? Stay tuned...

As a patriot here is something Obama could do. He could negotiate with Trump and ask him to release this information to the public himself so the potential for Russian blackmail goes away. Maybe this is already happening. Trump will be damaged a bit, but he is teflon, so he may consider doing that. That way Obama can leave knowing he is not leaving a compromised man in charge and congress will not have the unenviable task of deciding whether or not to impeach.

Yes, my team lost (this is not about the National College Football Championship:) We'll have a rematch next year, and no matter which team gets there and wins..as young as the winners are..while being jubilant, like gentlemen who were taught well, publicly they will be most likely humble and gracious in victory (this is about the NCAAF:)

It is not about party or losing. Did not vote for Reagan, Bush 41 or Bush 43..but, policy disagreements aside, there are a lot of good things I can easily say about them.

Seriously, "Gaslight(ing)" or not..feels like it is a Twilight Zone after watching the press conference this morning.

Just hope for his wellness and our well-being..too much is at stake.
