SAHARANPUR, UP, India—A Gurdwara Sahib in Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) was reportedly looted by armed goons on May 19. The looters took away cash worth Rs. 45000/- along with the donation box and precious artifacts of the Gurdwara Sahib at gun point.

Speaking to Sikh24, the appointed ‘Granthi’ (Priest) of Gurdwara Sahib S. Charan Singh reported that the looters entered into Gurdwara Sahib at 1:30 am tied up the person present in the Gurdwara premises. He added that the looters looted the Gurdwara Sahib for more than one hour.

“We all were locked in a room by the robbers as they looted the Gurdwara Sahib for more than an hour”, he said.
