Members of a cow vigilante group stabbed a college student multiple times for not taking photographs of their protest after mistaking him for a journalist in Gohana town of Haryana’s Sonepat district on Thursday.

The BA second-year student, Shivam, is battling for life at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi.

He reportedly went to the event with a journalist and was fiddling with his friend’s camera.

The Gau Raksha Seva Dal held a protest demanding sedition charges against Congress workers in Kerala who slaughtered a cow in public last Saturday to defy new Central rules that no cattle can be sold or bought in animal markets for slaughter.

I don't think Gau rakshaks are Modi's sishyas. They are a head ache for him. For all you know, they may be helping CONmen by raking the issue.

Can you even believe this non-sense media report? How is this practically possible? Regardless of whether he is a journalist or not, if it came to the question of his life, I am sure that he would have started clicking as many photos as they wanted, if that is what they truly wanted. Which sensible person believes that he resisted taking photos and got himself stabbed? There is something more sinister at play here... Regardless of what happened, it is obvious that the media reports are highly implausible! #FAKENEWS
