.....Historically, China was not known to win many wars (the 1962 war with Nehru's India was one of the exceptions). Xi may be referring to a possible war re. South China sea. If he is thinking of a war with India, he is making a mistake. Unlike in 1962, Indian military now has an advantage. All along the northern sector, Indian military bases are not that far from China's border. China, however, has Tibet (where there are only two specialized bases for high altitudes) in between where China's main military bases are and targets in India. This time, the Chinese asses will be kicked hard in a conventional war. Xi knows this well. That is why he asked his forces to pull back during the Bhutan standoff......
