May be it's a good thing that Modi and Amit Shah asked him to GTFO when he asked for more money!
Will Vakavaka Pakapaka be brave enough to ask CBN not to waste money on all these things? Of course not! When it comes to narrow-minded parochialism, nothing beats the hypocrisy and blindness of South Indians.

Naidu, who laid the foundation stone for the Haj House in Vidyadharapuram, Vijayawada, said, "We have promoted Urdu, built thousands of masjids across the state. This year almost 2500 people went for Haj from Andhra. Ours is the only government in India giving Rs 5000 for maulvis and Rs 3000 to moujums. Last year we paid 32 crores and we will increase that amount if necessary."
The Haj House will feature 120 rooms, 30 service apartments and 20 dormitories so that as many as 1200 Haj pilgrims can be accommodated simultaneously. Apart from the Haj House, Masjid, Shadi Khana and Eidgah will be built in this complex with an estimated expenditure of Rs 80 crores. Another Haj House is under construction at Kadapa at an expense of Rs 12 crores.

Hmm...... Looks like CON-JDS combine will have majority and can form govt. For every Rs 100 Indian gov collects from UP, it gives UP Rs 179. For TN it is Rs. 100 and Rs. 45. For Kerala pay back is Rs 35. For Karnataka it is Rs. 47. I do not knoew AP and TEL:. Must be similar

True for all Southern states. The 15th financial commission is trying to make it worse for SI and give even more than what the country is giving to BIMARUs. The 15th financial commission's chair is Mondi's crony. what is the Haj house etc used for? I thought haj meant the pilgrims took a flight to Saudi Arabia. So facilitating the rush departure and arrival etc in the airports would make sense.
Hopefully the maulvis and mullahs use the money constructively and not for preaching jihad as has happened elsewhere in the muslim world.
Do Hindu and Christian priests also get such allowances?
