No surprises. Modi made alliances with Yeddyyurappa, Gali brothers, CBN and may partner with Jagan; he gravitates towards corrupt folks.

I don't think Rahul Gandhi tried his best in Karnataka, otherwise BJP wouldn't have missed the 114 mark.

CD:  In AP, I think, Mondi just wants credit for any good thing that happens. CBN has been tagging local names for central schemes, making Mondi unhappy. Mondi, naturally would want BJP to grow in the state (unrealistic). When he realized that helping CBN translates into making TDP more popular, he decided to make it difficult for CBN. He also tried to make Jagan feel that he supports him. He doesn't. Mondi just wants to use him for his own sake. Even Jagan is realizing this now. GVL Narasimha Rao is saying that BJP has a plan for AP for 2019 and Ram Madhav is assigned the state (and a Kapu is made the president of BJP in AP). So, RSS wallahs will swarm the villages for the next 9 months trying to change the mindset of voters. I don't think the voters in AP will trust Mondi. Once bitten twice shy.....

More info on BS Yeddy's games....

Apparently, he is trying to have some CON-MLAs and JDS-MLAs (especially, Lingayats) resign before they vote on majority in assembly. He is promising them plum posts (clike chairman of some institution, appointment of some as MLCs - who also rob public money just like MLAs. So, by reducing the number in opposition, he is trying to convert his 104 into a majority)......

He is also doing some tantric rituals (just like Ravana's son in Ramayana). I suppose, that is another Hindian technique....    LOL.....

It's better than some politician mindlessly announcing some expensive / unrealistic programs in the state and then asking the Center to fund them, and when the center refuses to pay for them, then blame the Center.
