BEST summer mini-vacation plan?
Hi guys, Oppressive heat in Delhi (close to 48C), and most of India is
burning too this time of the year. What might be the best place for a
mini-vacation in India? Even a place with the temp of 27-28C would do.
The mini-vacation needs to be about now (~mid June to late June) for a
special retired couple, for about 4-6 days. Not necessarily a touristy
place, but must have good 5 star hotels and an easy access to an
airport. I was thinking Goa, but its too rainy in June?. Was thinking
Kerala, but too hot? Shimla, too touristy and not accessible by
airport, same true for Manali, Kullu, Nainital and other 'hill-stations'
in the north. Then realized that all of india is unbearably hot this
time of the year, so what options does that leave? Hence settled down
for a place with a temp as high as 27-28. All of south seems to be
sweltering. Northern hill stations not accessible by air- do you guys
have any other ideas? Nepal? North East? Maybe some place where they can
be indoors in an Ashram or meditation kind of camp where they wont be
affected by the weather much? A spa-hotel kind of thing (is there such a
thing as a 'spa hotel' where they have packaged deals or whatever?)
Any other ideas? TIA

Dude, the issue is everybody in India is looking for a vacation spot that has below 30 degrees temps right now..so where ever you go you might escape the heat but not the crowd !!!
