back in the day when i was very new in the US and had just started watching pro ball, they used to call with some regularity something called a traveling violation. why is it that despite blatant traveling, it's never called these days? i can't remember when i last saw a traveling violation called. have the rules changed?

I think its mainly coz the game will slowdown and become unwatchable with all the turnovers if they call travel...same reason it's hard to watch celtics, pistons and spurs play..game is slow and way too many turnovers from good defense..
