Financial giants have boards filled with financial people. Finanical firms are also expected to serve the nation and its people and lead them to prosperity. But, it is hard to find any board member with a non-financial background (say a chief engineer, a professor or even a high school principal).

Then why the fyuck a university board should be filled with financial looters? no wonder they are spreading their destruction beyond Wall street.

Unv of Virginia receives less than 10% of its budget. A few years ago, the school wanted to go completely private to rid itself of Government (undue) influence but backed out. With a $5 bil kitty, they may well operate as a Private university without any influence from such people who are morally weakened by their wealth and material greed.
