There are 16 heritage buildings between Egmore and Central Railway stations, says the policy note of the Municipal Administration. This prompted the photographer in B. Aravind Kumar to take a morning ride to capture some of them. A Madras 373 special.

Then why do they claim to belong to backward caste?

There are different Mudaliyaar subcastes...most of them are forwards, but some of them sneaked themselves into backward castes.
