meanwhile, do you know if sangeeta plays any role in sulekha.com anymore?

i am unable to understand how the same people who came up with a superior well designed site more than a decade ago could come up with an inferior product.

thanks rashmun. i read those threads. i have even commented in the second thread you link.

i don't think sangeeta plays any role in sulekha anymore.

the "intentions" of sulekha-ji seem promising. they have promised nesting (a vital feature) and a few more. let's see -- time will tell.

i tried posting a "test" blog the day before. it said "moderators will screen it and then it will be up." it is still not up. scratch

there are still so many problems. for example, there is no link available for a particular response/post. i am skeptical if they can really improve it to match expectations.

one thing is clear though -- earlier only CHers were upset, now even the bloggers are upset. there was really no need to change the blog format. why did they? scratch

unless sulekha fixes things fast (unlikely), bloggers will bail out. then, why their continued fascination for keeping the "social" tag ticking? just do away with the "social" aspect that is full of "freeloaders."
