I am not even thinking about Iran today..My heart goes out to the thousands of people in Gaza- living under already deplorable conditions for years and years..esp. mothers who must be terrified- holding their children with no sirens to warn them and no bombshelters to run to and hide...just helplessly watching airstrike after airstrike and may see a full ground invasion soon.

One person's militant is another person's freedom fighter, One country's beloved military is another country's arch enemy..
Seriously, no matter who is at fault/to blame for triggering what..there is never any safety or good breaks for the children in Gaza..my post is really about some compassion for them. Speaking of Children..you can see them as Jews, Muslims and Christians..I see them ALL as the children of Isaac and Ishmael and descendents of Abraham..who will fight forever, it's too bad, the rest of us ("Big powerful friends") have to be involved too..it's depressing and desensitizing.

Yes it is desensitizing. It is best to think philosophical. As long as land and women are there, wars will be fought (Women are still considered property and something to be 'protected' in many civilizations and countries.) When we win something we are supposed to assume that God is making us win - or help others through us. Perhaps God is killing others through us.
There...none of us need to feel guilty now.
