The unraveling of John McCain
John McCain seems to want to embody the popular CH phrase "going berserk." He was so upset with the Obama administration not providing him intelligence briefings that he went on TV at the time that the administration was providing a briefing to senators, thereby missing a briefing that he was mad he wasn't getting. When reporters asked him why he missed the briefing about an issue that was so important to him, he responded like an entitled jerk. Later his office said he missed the meeting due to a "scheduling error." He accuses the Obama administration of incompetence, while he can't manage his own schedule and show up to briefings he really wants to attend.

What is driving John McCain berserk? It looks like he is going crazy because he is about to become more irrelevant than he already is.
Just four years ago, John McCain was the leader of the GOP. Today, he's the highest-ranking Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, a perch from which the former fighter pilot is deeply engaged in the national conversation over war, terrorism and intelligence gathering.
But in January, the Arizona senator will lose his top-ranking committee seat due to term limits. The only ranking Republican spot available to him next session will be on the Indian Affairs Committee.
Unless, that is, the Senate creates a brand-new select committee. On Wednesday, McCain, flanked by Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), proposed just that: a select committee with extensive authority to investigate the Benghazi, Libya, attack and the U.S. government's response.
The Republican most likely to hold the ranking spot on such a panel would be, of course, John McCain, giving the Arizona senator a new burst of relevance.

Yeah so? He has been here a very long time. There are bound to be things we like and things we don't like about him. Nothing can change the fact that he is a hero. Nothing can also change the fact that he has shown poor political judgment picking Caribou Barbie as his veep candidate. He is aging rapidly now and seems a little lost on occasion.

Yeah. So quote him when his view point coincides with yours and diss him otherwise? Typical libtard hypocrisy!MaxEntropy_Man wrote:Yeah so? He has been here a very long time.
