what have I been saying? People like MD and Huze hope from city to city seeing only the glitter.

Go by ordinary trains and inter-town ordinary buses (Hint -why are these always so full always?) to see what is on ground. In cities the poverty is hidden by the glitter.

When I go to India, I drop my wife in her mommy's place. I pack my bags and take whatever bus shows up to whatever city it takes me, and that usually is a whole new view of India.

I know my in-laws will not live a reasonably comfy life but for help from outside. Same goes in 3 other families in my street - helped by their kids abroad (they even book domestic flight tickets for them from abroad). The aging population is another ticking time-bomb in India's middle class materialistic world.

Oh, BTW - all my suggestions are only for people who are interested in knowing the invisible India.
