Who are more possessive when it comes to relationships? Jealous, unforgiving, possessive. Men or women? What do you think? What have you seen?

I think so too. Men keep making fun of women for being jealous, suspicious, what not. But what women do, if at all, is nothing compared to how men behave or react.

I voted for women. The answer is simple. Men, may be more jealous or possessive initially (BTW I am only limiting my discussion to educated men from urban cities, and not men from small town or villages), but as time passes and they get to know more about the 'other' man(be it her colleague, gym instructor, old college friend etc or anyone they are jealous of) and they realize that their girl is not hitting on them, or he on her, then it eventually allays their fear. In fact Ive also seen men share beer with the men they are 'supposed' be jealous of.

Women on the contrary are a different beast. No matter what, if once (just once) they get suspicious of another women, they will never never let go of the hatred, jealousy and suspicion for that other woman.

Information Courtesy: personal experience and listening long stories from friends over the years

Money,Beauty,Intelligence,Success and Confidence..

whoever got the leverage will be the main player in a relationship.

So, possessive, jealousy and other such traits belong to both men and women.

Or coming out of the scope of relationships, someone else gets the promotion/house/success/woman(man) that you were hoping for? For that matter, even the kids' success.

Not imaginary stuff. Real stuff. Who reacts stronger and can be more lethal?

Both is not an option in this poll. It's about 'more'.

It all depends on how long you were in a relationship and how secure you feel about one another. Usually the security and the relationship dynamics chages with time.

Women and Men are equally jealous, unforgiving and possessive.

I have been with the H since I was 17...so I have seen it all. Atleast Men show it off then and there but Women carry it with them to the grave.

Relationships based on money will not survive longer.

Beauty fades with time.

Money and beauty can blind over look intelligence and other factors.

Jealousy is egoistic, possessiveness is a mere more controlling attitude. Whatever...relationships are more complicated.

Yep. Everything is complicated. Still, after having lived 40 years, give or take ahem 30 on this forum, we form certain opinions on topics like this, with each experience or news. That's what this poll is aimed at. What do you think instantly when you hear a question like this?

A decade back I would've said "Men" instantly. But today where Men-Men and Women-Women live together; I would say..."Both!" Did you find any gujju girl?

No. Not looking for a guy or a gal. However I think I'm pretty close to making friends with senior aunties who walk all day in the office. The walkers club, I call them. They all look so content. Am gonna get rolled into aunties club officially and will join their kirtan/knitting/walking/baking club if they have any.

*drama mode on*
This aunty is ready to be initiated into the formal aunties clubs around nj.

All your relationship questions and polls makes one to assume that you are looking for something....anyways,. Even when I am in my 50s will never ever ever call myself as Aunty. I like walking club. Who needs baking/kirtan/knitting...I am all for Tennis/Jogging/Swimming/Walking/Yoga club.

I think 2 decades back there used to be this gal residing as one of our tenants and she always address me as "Aunty!" (We were of same age...coz I was married she was calling me Aunty) Haven't seen her after a long time. One day got an FB invite from her...couldn't recognize her and so sent her a message asking how she knows me? She mailed me back with her name....but I asked her ...Who ?? Then she sent a picture of us together and Geez! She has become more like an Aunty. I felt bad for laughing and a also was fearful....about me becoming an aunty in future.

*touch wood*

Everyone is always looking for something. Doesn't mean it has to be a guy or a gal. I'm looking for some kind of completeness in life. To find that equation in which I can stay until my end.
