argued that instead more guns, not more controls, are needed.
Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Gohmert said of slain principal Dawn Hochsprung: “I wish to God she had had an M-4 [assault rifle] in her office, locked up so when she heard gunfire, she pulls it out and she didn’t have to lunge heroically with nothing in her hands, but she takes him out, takes his head off before he can kill those precious kids.”

Agree and also if some of those 6, 7 year old kids had automatic assault weapons, this tragedy could have been averted even before the principal would confront Adam Lanza.
Arm ALL americans kids and adults with guns, pistols, rifles, automatic assault weapons to stop all gun related tragedies.

Hey...why stop there?...give the lil' ones some Sarin gas canisters or Ebola strains from southern Congo or Burkina Faso. That'll stop no no...deter any emotionally disturbed and armed 20-year old cold in his tracks.

May be our esteemed congressman saw an opportunity to help his right wing friends. Sell guns to each and every school in the country, all teachers will have to go thru mandatory firearms training program and monthly per diem so teachers can make a trip to shooting range to keep their skills sharp.

i asked a friend who is a hunter his take on the gun issues. here's what he said:
if you can't shoot a buck with a ten round magazine, you don't need a thirty round magazine, you need target practice. besides, if you haven't bagged it by round 10, it's probably run away and you don't need anything.
