I love this seemingly Singapore system of electing ppl with accomplishments as opposed to democracies where salesmen and thugs with power get elected to run the govt.

Maybe the departed man liked it when she called him in the accented non Indian way. Also, the announcer at the beginning seems like an ethnic Indian and he didn't pronounce it the Indian way either.
