Btw I see these ads in the top of the age, as the person who manages this forum, do they pay you for allowing them to post it here ?

I think that is the least they can do, even if none of us click on it ?
Or
You have to host it as a part of the deal you have with the server farm managers.

I distinctly remember you mentioning something about spending your personal money to get this going. If it helps we can do a few clicks.

No, they don't pay me anything for the ads on top. Those ads are part of the arrangement for Forumotion. Any clicks on ads presumably benefit Forumotion, which runs the technical infrastructure for this forum. I do pay the hosting fees for the chat site associated with SuCH -- that is at http://ch.chaikaapi.com/chat.

that is good news! some janitor has installed malware that can infect your system if you click the ads. don't click on one if you see it.

i too have the same problem. maybe the admin can fix it.

Call me old school/fashioned whatever..I still believe in respecting the host in any place-appreciate their space-creation..and this host has an abundance of patience, and that is to be commended.

it is the number by "join date" or in descending order by date of joining. it is not static. right now auro is #1 and charvaka #331 and you are somewhere in the middle. if another member joins, auro will become #2 and charvaka #332. hope this completely useless info. helps!

yup yup. the missus is recovering from a gall bladder laparoscopy. *i really do not know the boundaries between info. and TMI* she is doing well. older is home for holidays (pongal) and has completed his first semester of college with excellent grades. that he has completed the first sem. without flunking out is a miracle! i am so glad and am confident now that he will eventually graduate. business continues to give heartaches but i think it is temporary or maybe i think it is time i got used to it for there is only so much i can do. baaki sab thik hai. hope you doing well too.
