If you have to pick one and only one cricketer, across all formats of the game, which Indian cricketer would you pick as your favorite?

I don't like Dhoni...he has some flaws. So I don't care with you calling him machan/mama/koma/mamu/podalanga/vendakaai....just saying.

mohd kaif is my yet another favourite cricketer. his consistency is unparalleled. in ODIs, he consistently scored sub-30 scores and in T20s, he has scored 13 to 17 runs on a regular basis. even bradman had some troughs in his graph, but kaif? no sir! he should immediately be considered for UP ratna or allahabad bhushan or some such. let me get in touch with baba ramdev who will announce a fastu to support my cause.
murali vijay is threatening mohd kaif on my popularity list, though. he has been consistently scoring sub-20s in ODIs, his favourite being 12.

From the current crop of players I like Dhoni. Out of the big 4, I never liked Ganguly or Laxman.

Sachin - best batsman, good cricket head, natural talent, clean character.
Dhoni - great leader. sincere.
Kapil Dev - best all rounder ever. Natural talent.
Shastri - great cricket head. Still matters as a commentator.
Ganguli - leader, talent, changed the face of Indian cricket by making it aggressive.
Dravid - temperament. clean character. best book cricket which made records.
Gavaskar - maybe the first globally respected Indian cricketer. cricket head.
K Srikant - always delivered.
Kumble - talent, sincere, clean character.
Azhar - can't discount his talent and leadership, inspite of the final blot on his reputation.
Dhoni - great leader. sincere.
