What's the prevailing mood among you guys that have lived in us and moved back to desh, these days? You get the sense md is reevaluating whether benefits of eating good food outweighs other aspects but what abt cap'n, Mickey b etc? Any thoughts or plans to move back or are you comfortable and optimistic enough bat future for yourself and your kids over there? I know my friends are slowly trickling back for higher education of kids (including high school, college etc) but gults are an unimaginative copycat bunch..one does it, rest will follow.

i've some compelling reasons to stay in india but once i am ready to travel, i will. it may not be possible for me to settle abroad permanently but i am determined to stay for as long as i can. i hope my employer packs me off to someplace in europe next so that i can do business and pleasure for years there.

appendix 1

although i was p!ssed at many things here after returning, i have slowly made peace with all of them except traffic. so, if you ask me if i am comfortable here, then the answer is yes. that wasn't the case 4 years ago though.

how do you make peace with:

1. serious air pollution
2. serious population density
3. serious water shortage
4. erratic electricity supply
5. very low value on life
6. a justice system that doesn't work (simple landlord-tenant cases drag on for a decade or more)
7. not being able to pick up bytches on Craigslist
8. ityadi

Sorry India.

how do you make peace with:

1. serious air pollution
they stay indoors as long as they can

2. serious population density
they live in gated communities

3. serious water shortage
they buy water

4. erratic electricity supply
generators

5. very low value on life
mostly a problem for poor and middleclass folk

6. a justice system that doesn't work (simple landlord-tenant cases drag on for a decade or more)
cost of good food

7. not being able to pick up bytches on Craigslist
india is a growth market from this perspective. plus is most of the bytches there are skinny unlike the fat bytches in america

8. ityadi

Sorry India.

but then don't all the breasts that are available to grope in the buses of the delhi transport system make up for the quality-of-life factors above? you'll pick up as many women on craigslist while living in india as you do here, zero.
