Why the UCC or Uniform Civil Code? Empty Why the UCC or Uniform Civil Code?

Because the current official law in the country needs to be same for everyone, irrespective of religion, race caste and gender. This naturally disqualifies the laws based on ancient ideologies and religious books which breed gender discrimination (such as women not equal to men) and demonize other people (for example, considering  persons of other faiths as not fit for association and friendship and requiring them to change their religion to find acceptance, equality and sometimes even safety in society).

Considering there is no UCC in India, should India be called a secular country with all its religious laws?
