Kallis would  probably have scored more runs if he didn't do double duty as a bowler. The lack of hype surrounding his achievements has probably helped him to focus better on his cricket.

disclaimer - this question is not rhetorical.

does anyone here know a couple of career-defining innings by kallis, be it test or ODIs? match-winning, turning-the-match-on-its-head type? i tried to look for this on google, but could not find any.

did he not help SA save the third test at cape town during the last tour ? i think he scored a century in the second innings. was it the same match where he got hit by sreesanth? fading memory...

thanks. yes, he scored hundreds in both the innings. i was thinking more like a winning knock. tests or ODIs.

i can't recall any such knocks but am sure there must be a few. he has amassed a lot of runs and not all of it can be from playing just the bridesmaid.
