shami looks like the real deal. works up a good speed and doesn't drop off even after he's bowled a few overs and very accurate swinging the ball both ways. hope he continues this way for a long time in his career.

An unbelievable break for India. Amla sat down to avoid the ball but got his bails flying around. Ball did not raise high enough. He got in the first innings in a similar fashion.

amla is very strong on technique. he's their best. i wouldn't brand him as stupid based on two innings.

Yes it is a good contest now and anything can happen despite India's strong advantage. Pat symcox is a great entertainer -- even when he used to bowl and bat and now on tv. He is Santa Claus.

my impression of steyn was that he tried but got very discouraged. During the kohli and pujara partnership. Some credit goes to young lads. However there several near misses and few lucky shots.
But steyn will be back for next test. However Durham is philanders hunting ground.

as in win? impossible. you don't know the kind of pressure they are under -- they had too send a night watchman. amla's dismissal should dispel any notions that this is an easy pitch to defend on.
