Six million people get Obamacare on Wednesday. Are doctors ready?
"Wednesday is a big day for Obamacare. Because it's the day that at least 6 million Americans gain health coverage under the Affordable Care Act.
Even before the Affordable Care Act kicked in, some patients had difficulty finding a doctor who would accept their coverage. This is especially true with Medicaid, where 30 percent of doctors are not currently accepting new patients. The problem is particularly acute in states that pay Medicaid doctors much lower rates than the Medicare program."

"At this point, we have more than 2 million signed up via the exchanges and more than 4 million added to Medicaid. Both numbers will grow a lot over the next three months. This is pretty close to the end game." Paul Krugman in The New York Times."

4 million added to medic aid. Did not know much about it.
Just speculation. Most of the 6m are people who expect to get more from insurance that they paid. That is people with long term care needs and expensive procedures.
The original estimate was about 40 to 50m uninsured citizens. Where are these people?
Will they get the young and healthy to balance the books?

More cracks in GOP resistance to Obamacare: "Several other GOP-controlled states are also looking for their own ways to opt in to the Medicaid expansion — which is to say, to accept federal money to expand coverage while achieving nominal distance from Obamacare."
OBAMA APPROVAL BOUNCING BACK A BIT? The CBS News poll mentioned above finds the public split on Obama, at 46-47, with his approval rating rising some nine points from a low of 37 percent in November, amid the disastrous health care rollout. The poll could be a bit of an outlier — the Real Clear Politics average has him at 43.2 percent — or it could be a harbinger of improvement to come in other polls. We’ll see.
