Telangana exit polls
Don't know how reliable it is and the name of the "reputed agency" is not mentioned.

As per the exit polls conducted by a reputed agency, TDP-BJP alliance ruined the chances of TRS to form the first government in India's 29th state Telangana. Surprisingly, Congress performed better than TRS to emerge as the single largest party in both Assembly and Lok Sabha polls
Assembly (119 seats):
Congress - 45 seats.
TRS - 36 seats
TDP-BJP - 27 seats
MIM - 6 seats
CPI - 3 seats
Others - 2 seats
Lok Sabha (17 seats):
Congress - 7 seats (Adilabad - Naresh Jadhav, Peddpalli - G Vivek, Mahbubnagar - Jaipal Reddy, Nagar Kurnool - Nandi Yellaiah, Nalgonda - G Sudhakar Reddy, Bhuvanagiri - K Rajagopal Reddy, Mahabubabad - Balram Naik)
TRS - 5 seats (Medak - KCR, Nizamabad - Kavitha, Warangal - Kadiam Srihari, Karimnagar - B Vinod Kumar, Zaheerabad - BV Patil)
TDP-BJP - 4 seats (Malkajgiri - Malla Reddy, Khammam - Nama Nageswara Rao, Secunderabad - Bandaru Dattatreya, Chevella - Veerender Goud)
MIM - 1 seat (Hyderabad - Asaduddin Owaisi) - See more at: http://www.gulte.com/news/26734/Telangana-Exit-Polls-TDP-BJP-spoil-KCRs-party#sthash.Ca9mD0OG.dpuf

Re: Telangana exit polls
How are they publishing it? They have violated model code of conduct. But wait! This one puts Congress as No. 1. So no FIR would be filed.b_A wrote:Don't know how reliable it is and the name of the "reputed agency" is not mentioned.

Re: Telangana exit polls
I highly doubt the authenticity of these polls.
it sounds like a tdp -bjp gossip . i would be surprised if the combine can get as many as 27 seats in t area.

Re: Telangana exit polls
So, T state will have a CON+TRS govt.
KCR won't be the CM.
Rahul will appoint a blind, handicapped, Maadiga CONwoman as the CM.

Another exit poll. Equally unreliable. The Mp seats and assembly results lack of correlation seem odd.

May not be so odd. Last time also , TRS got 2 MP seats but they didn't get all (or majority of ) the assembly seats from the parliamentary constituencies that they won. When someone like KCR contests for parliament ,people vote for him and not to the assembly candidates. And vijayashanti barely won the medak seat.

Re: Telangana exit polls
Congress could possibly benefit from its national presence in parliament elections. Sonia may be less disliked than local leaders.b_A wrote:truthbetold wrote:http://gultpost.com/telangana-exit-poll-verdict-by-an-english-channel/

However in this particular case, except for the numbers, the MP seat locations follow assembly strengths.
If the poll turns out to be correct, then it shows lot of cross (or split) voting between assembly seats and MP seats.

Re: Telangana exit polls
If this exit poll holds in real count, then the famous Ali quote becomes so apt. When Ali knocked out George Foreman in Zaire, Foreman said "it's African weather that did me in." Ali replied, "it's not African weather, it's Ali's leather." Similarly, it's KCR's fast or political skills that got them Telangana, it's Sonia's determination to divide the state.
