I agree... Saddam was a butcher...But if Assad can be allowed to rule, Saddam could have been left alone. Given the temperament, the Middle east Madaiyans can only be ruled ruthlessly by such dictators. Iraq and Iraqi were more peaceful and prosperous than they are now.

Everyone remembers Nixon for Vietnam. But it was JFK who started it.

Don't strain yourself so much trying to defend Obama.
