Andhra Pradesh decides on capital
Hyderabad: The AP government is strongly in favour of building the new capital city between Vijayawada and Guntur and the same was conveyed to the Centre-appointed Sivramakrishnan Committee which is looking for suitable locations for setting up the state capital.
Chairman of the state advisory committee on capital and municipal administration and urban development minister Dr P. Narayana along with the state government’s representative in Delhi K. Ram Mohan Rao met Mr Sivaramakrishnan and other members in Delhi and held discussions for two hours.
Sources said Dr Narayana presented a strong case for the capital to be located between Vijayawada and Guntur or spread over Krishna and Guntur districts.

Spread over Krishna & Guntur districts ------- Amaravati as the core with the capital embedding the Krishna river within it (a better option IMO). Makes his Singapore dreams at least possible to realize.
